Pilates, Active Rehab/Kinesiology
Natalie’s passion for movement rehabilitation ignited following an ACL injury from playing high school rugby. Since then, she has graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and is a BCAK Registered Kinesiologist. She is also a NSCA Certified Personal Trainer and applies techniques learned from other certifications such as FMS, BC Sports Aid, and CFES Fitness Theory.
Aside from academics, Natalie has over 5 years of combined experience working in both a clinical and recreational setting. She has worked closely alongside senior physiotherapists, chiropractors, and fitness specialists. Exposure to these environments has solidified her understanding of various musculoskeletal conditions and expanded her ability to customize exercise to clients of varying ages and backgrounds. She believes in a client-centered, deep to superficial approach by addressing any underlying movement dysfunctions prior to strengthening surrounding musculature.
As an avid gym-goer, Natalie enjoys educating and working with diverse populations, as she trusts that everyone has the power to unlock their potential. She takes a keen interest in enhancing strength, hypertrophy training, and improving core stability. She understands the challenges in making time for physical activity and is dedicated to motivate and support you in every step of your fitness journey - whether you are just getting started or want a change in your training regimen! Natalie will listen and work with you to build healthy and maintainable habits that last beyond her sessions.
