Kayla is a warm, encouraging, and approachable instructor that creates a comfortable environment to move. She provides progressive programming to encourage her clients to grow in their Pilates practice.
She has worked in the Healthcare and Early Childhood Education fields, and quickly realized the importance of continual self-care for the emotional and physical self in order to sustain a healthy energy and strong body. She believes in and has experienced the ability of Pilates to reduce the opportunity for chronic pain caused by habitual imbalanced posture in the workplace.
Kayla received her Stott certification in Pilates and has actively worked in the field ranging from group mat and equipment classes, as well as private sessions with clients ranging from injury recovery, introduction to fitness, all the way to athletic conditioning. She has also worked on the administration end managing day to day clients and coordinating education for Pilates students learning to be instructors at a training facility.
In her off hours, Kayla enjoys practicing spiritual growth through Meditation, Yoga and Tao, and being outdoors with her son hiking and biking. She hopes you are empowered to find a deep connection to your own anatomy in her sessions and looks forward to meeting you.
